``True,`` Jo agreed, nodding. She sighed, staring out at the sky. ``I sure hope someone finds it.``
-
"But how will they know we're on this island?" Arlo asked, clearly doubting himself already, yet he was already scooping sand onto the paper to form words.
-
``I.. don't know,`` Jo said, crossing her arms. ``God we're gonna be stuck out here forever, with no way of getting home to our families and friends, and then I'm going to have that guilt because I already feel like I haven't contributed enough to keeping us alive and..`` she ranted, beginning to pace back and forth on the sand.

"You’ve contributed plenty," Arlo assured her, a poker face masking his emotions; his true colors. "We’re not going to be stuck here forever; we’ll find a way to get out, Jo. I just know it."
-
Jo nodded, taking deep breaths in attempt to calm herself. ``Yeah. We'll.. we'll be fine,`` she said, stopping and standing in place.
-
"We will, we will, we will," Arlo repeated. He seemed quite agitated too. "So, let's take that moonlit walk around this six-foot island," he said, grinning.
-
Jo nodded, looking over to Arlo. ``Yeah. Maybe that'll take my mind of this sh--ty situation,`` she said, chuckling softly.
-
"It's not that bad," he said again. "At least we have food and water." He gestured to the ocean and palm trees in turn. "We'll find a way to get out of this," he said, bitterly gazing at the now starless night sky.
-
Jo nodded, putting her hands in the pockets of her jeans. She hummed as her gaze shifted around her, looking over to the ocean and palm trees in her line of sight.
-
"What do you think we should do?" Arlo asked, sounding helpless and afraid like a small child. The paper was already adrift, bobbing up and down in the ocean.
-
Jo shrugged, slightly kicking up sand as she walked. ``Wait, your phone's on a timer, right?`` She asked, looking over to Arlo. ``When does the timer thing go off, so you can use it again?``
-
Arlo shook his head. "Twelve a.m., then I can use it again for one minute on each app. And I forgot the screen time passcode I set for myself, so we have approximately one minute each day."
