Captain slowly came to his senses, groaning as pain tore through his body. He forced himself up, lifting a hand to touch the right side of his face. His breath caught in his throat as he felt the gaping hole in his skull, quickly scanning the area for something reflective. He made a choked noise and started stumbling through the forest, feeling overwhelmed by the silence in his own head
