Archaios winced as he heard something slamming downstairs, sitting down at hia desk to draw while he waited for his father to calm down.

Layla went back upstairs to call Archaios. "Hey Archaios! How are you!" She said as she looked at the wall.

Archaios heard his phone ring and quickly pulled it out, fumbling with it a little before he managed to answer"h-hi Layla. Nows not a great time" he said quietly, sounding nervous

"Oh..... Ok I'll call you tomorrow then." Layla said smiling. "I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye!" Layla said as she was about to hang up.

"Bye" Archaios replied quietly before he heard his father shouting his name, causing him to quickly hang up before going to see what his father wanted

"Hmmmmmmmmm. I wonder what's going on at Archaios' home." She said as she laid back down.

"You called me father?" Archaios asked as he walked into hos fathers office, doing his best to stay calm.
"I told you to be home at three did i not" the man hissed, standing up fron his chair to aproach the teen "yes sir" Archaios said quickly.
"And what time is it now." His father growled, grabbing Archaios' arm hard enough to bruise.
"6?" Myriad said quickly, his voice trembling in pain before ye yelped as he was thrown backwards, hitting his head.
"Yes! Three hours after you should have been home. You cant even obey simple orders you useless boy!" His father shouted. "Go to your room an stay there. No food till i say so" he ordered, causing Archaios to get up and run to his room -
Layla snuck out of her room and jumped out the window and became Light Century. "I heard a boy being abused." She said to herself. "I hope he is ok." She added.

Archaios shut his door behind him and curled up against it, hilding his arm as he tried to get the pain to stop, crying silently

Layla then appeared in Archaios' window. "Don't cry. You are going to be fine." She said. -
Archaios jumped when he heard her, his head snapping up as he looked at her in alarm

"What's wrong? It looks like you've never seen me in forever?" Layla said as she jumped into the room. "Ok so my sister doesn't know I snuck out to see you. She thinks I'm still asleep." Layla said as she crouched down to Archaios.

Archaios calmed down a little, pulling his knees against his chest."you startled me thats all" he said quietly, seeming a little scared as he tried to be as quiet as possible

"You don't have to be scared of me." Layla said as she leapt to the window to be unseen.
