"One." The guard said. The wyvern kept charging power. "Two." The guard continued. The wyvern knew he only needed a moment longer. "Three. . . Four." The guard said, and the wyvern unleashed the full force of his lightning blast, right as the guard said, "Five! The dragon wins!" But the wyvern had already hit Glaca in the face with lightning.
Glaca's gonna be very sore tomorrow, let's just say that. He'll live though. But he's going to be in a lot of pain. The wyvern is exhausted from unleashing that much energy tho XD)) -
Standing up, he felt pain all over. I'm so gonna need mom's rubbing lotion now. He frowned and looked around.
-
The wyvern got up and sighed. "I got beat by a dragon... seriously?" He groaned, and a glowing aura appeared around his wounds for about five seconds and disappeared, his wounds gone and strength regained. "Welp. Pros and cons of being immortal. Pro, no actual injuries. Con, you still feel the pain when you get the wound. Pro, it's only for like half an hour..." He carried on as the guard led them through the tunnel. They reached a small room. "Before we continue, I'm going to need to blindfold the dragon, just for safety measures." He said, holding up a thick blindfold.
-
Glaca nodded but stood tense. "Okay."
-
Somehow, without front legs (idk his wings maybe) the guard wyvern tied the blindfold around Glaca and led them through a series of complicated tunnels deep under the mountains, until they came into an opening, where the guard took the blindfold off Glaca. They were in an entirely hollowed out mountain, with a large tree in the center, that had glowing and slightly translucent golden flowers and dark jungle green leaves. You could tell it was an oak tree, but it was very, very big. Despite being the inside of a mountain, cool blue streams ran through the mossy interior, and instead of a rocky floor, there was grass and soft, black soil beneath their talons. Majestic plants of all kinds sprouted here and there, and it was very bright, as lanterns with a warm orange glow of fire inside were around the hollowed out mountain. It was a large expanse, as there was a whole forest to one side, where there were even birds and squirrels running about, and a field on the other side, where rabbits ran freely. In the middle, the tree's roots created a path to a golden throne if you went north, back where they came from south, and to the east, a closed in tunnel with a gate guarded by five guard wyverns, and to the west, a tunnel where wyverns of all sizes and colors passed by but never came in, for this was the king's palace. It was a sight to behold. The guard led them down the path that would take them north, to the king. "I do not know if we should let a dragon roam our city." He told them. "And the king has been expecting you." He nodded to Glaca. Feathera understood. The king could see the future.
-
Glaca swallowed and followed them. The king? I look terrible though.
-
As they neared the throne, Feathera and the guard dropped into a bowing position, their wings spread out and there heads low as they crouched against the ground. The king, a pure white wyvern with a neon green lightning pattern all over his scales shifting to an electric blue lightning pattern on his wing flaps with cobalt blue eyes and silver talons as wells as silver horns, studied them. Then his eyes fell on Glaca. "I have been expecting you." His voice boomed. The king was about the size of the guard, still twice the size of Glaca.
-
Should I bow or say something? He smiled nicely. He decided to bow.
-
The wyvern king's gaze shifted to Feathera. "You should not have brought a dragon into our kingdom, but you are forgiven merely by the fact that he passed the trials." He said. He turned back to Glaca. "If you tell anyone about us, even if they promise to keep your little secret, you will be killed. I have learned not to trust a dragon's word, given my experience with the dragon queen."
-
"I'm not gonna tell anybody." Glaca answered.
-
The wyvern king snorted. "I see no reason to trust your species. Nevertheless, you will only have to face the first Trial if you decide to visit here again, but be warned. If you decide to wander my kingdom, I will not stop those you meet on the streets from attacking you."
-
"Okay." I just have to make them trust me. "I understand."
-
Glaca smiled. The king looked cool and nice, in a protective way.
-
The king nodded to the path to the kingdom. "If you are with the guard, no one will attack you. You and your friend may wander my kingdom, for now." Feathera and the guard guided Glaca to the streets. Wyverns gaped at the dragon (Glaca).
-
"Feathera, you are all so beautiful." He gaped back in shock at the beauty of the wyverns and the place.
