Unless he just couldn’t accept that she was dead.
Maybe she was alive, maybe not. But he was, and he would put this second chance to use. -
where and how are they gonna meet first, just so i know))

Austin shoved a wallet into his pocket. He didn’t understand human currency, but he knew that there were dollars, quarters, and pennies. -

Amelia walked outside and looked around

Austin needed some fresh air. He threw open the front door and stepped outside. The first thing he noticed was that he had a nice house. The second thing he noticed was that it was cold outside. The first thing he did was quickly run back inside and get a coat. Then, he set off for a walk.

She saw a park not far from her house a began walking to it

Austin saw a park and strayed from the nice sidewalk path. He wondered what it was. He could tell there were benches, and neat, organized wildlife.
He got the notion that he would meet someone important there, so he walked in the park’s direction. -
She reached the park and walked around looking at the birds and squirrels

Birds fluttered in the trees happily. Families, Austin thought. The word came to him painfully, as if he couldn’t admit that Amelia had been the closest thing to family he had had, and now she was gone.

She found a nice tree and sat under it

A second chance, a voice in his head echoed. You can’t satisfy yourself. How can you please others? Austin stumbled and tripped. He held himself up with his hand. Gasping, he retaliated, Easier said than done. But as a slim figure came into view, these thoughts filled his head.

A buttefly flew by Amelia. She watched it fly by

Amelia! he thought, bursting with recognition as he saw another human's face. She had been reborn as a human! Austin almost wanted to jubilantly throw his arms around her, but it would be strange-looking, a boy and a girl hugging each other although they had never been seen before. So he calmed himself down and said, "Amelia." Austin wanted to jump for joy.
