The Main House
Thread Topic: The Main House
-
A large house surrounded by acres of forest in Japan. The concrete walkway through the front yard is in pristine condition. The front and sides of the house are lined with various flowers, all blooming and healthy. There are a number of expensive looking cars in the detached garage, and many people can be seen coming and going at any given time. There is a large garden lined with fruit trees and blackberry brambles out back, well-tended and brimming. The rooms of this house include:
Ground Floor
The Main Hallway The stretch of hallway extending from the front door to the back door, with many rooms and staircases branching off of it.
The Living Room The first room off to the right of the main hallway. A large television is set up on the nearest wall to the doorway, with a plush sectional sofa sitting across from it. A coffee table rests in front of it, and a recliner sits to its left. There are three swings hanging from the ceiling by chains- one directly behind the couch, and one to either end of it. There's a desk along the wall behind the recliner, with a swivel chair placed in front of it. There's a window near said desk, which looks out to the side of the house. The wall perpendicular to the window is absolutely full of pictures of the extended family.
The Bathroom A bathroom is the next room off the main hallway, to the left. It's a standard bathroom, with a shower, closet, sink, mirror, toilet, trash can, and a window obscured with curtains.
The Stairs There are two sets of stairs on the ground floor- one is the second opening on the right of the main hallway, and it leads up to the second floor. The other is the second doorway on the left of the main hallway, and it leads down to the basement.
The Kitchen The kitchen is the third opening on the left of the main hallway. It has kitchen standards- a fridge, stovetop, dish washer, oven, and microwave. There is plenty of counter and cabinet space, and an island in the middle of said cabinetry. There is a table with four chairs, and a sliding glass door leads to the backyard.
The Dining Room The third opening on the right of the main hallway- a large room in which two walls are occupied by long, tall windows, which cover the expanse of both walls. In the center is a large table with eight chairs.
The Guest Room Hidden off the dining room, the guest room does not come in contact with the main hallway at all. It contains a king-sized bed with a nightstand along the wall on either side of the headboard. There's a desk along the wall close to the door, with a chair.
Second Floor
Sehei's Room A king-sized bed with a surplus of pillows and a few blankets. Has a big window which overlooks the side of the house, and a chest of drawers that wraps around the corner of the room closest to the door- it is terribly cluttered, stacked high with alcohol bottles, clothes, makeup, loose pieces of paper, and money. There is a nightstand beside the bed, and a closet nearby. The floor is a mess, littered with clothes both clean and worn, as well as empty bottles. The walls bear pictures of his family and friends. He is, notably, absent from every one of these pictures.
Avarice's Room A big bed atop a short set of rounded stairs. Near these stairs is a doorway leading to a balcony off the room, obscured by regal-looking blackout curtains. On the wall perpendicular to the balcony, there is a closet and a nightstand with a large mirror atop it. The walls are decorated with art projects and crafts done by his siblings at all ages.
Rithe's Room A more cozy room with a large bed, making the room appear even smaller than it is. A nightstand beside the headboard of the bed. There is a window beside the nightstand, and on the opposite end of it is a chest of drawers. In the corner opposite the bed is a bench-press, and near the chest of drawers hangs a punching bag. Inspirational posters hang from the wall near the punching bag and bench press.
The Bathroom A typical bathroom, containing all the necessities. The shower takes up most of this room, the only unusual aspect to be seen.
The Stairs One set of stairs leading up to the attic, and one leading down to the ground floor.
Ilshaw's Room A wide set of chest of drawers directly to the left of the doorway, with the bed along the wall opposite it. A window opens up over the headboard, and there is a nightstand beside it. A vanity with a large mirror, many lights, and drawers full of beauty supplies sits along the far wall. The walls are lined with abstract art and nature photos Ilshaw took.
The Guest Room A large room with a bed along the same wall as the doorway. A nightstand on either side of the headboard. There is a desk on the wall directly opposite the door, with a single chair, as well as two recliners in the far corner of the room. In front of these recliners is a small coffee table, and there is a window looking out over the backyard behind one of them.
The Closet A large closet in the wall across from the guest room, full of towels and other bathroom supplies, as well as a number of medical supplies for the infirmary.
Drug's Room A king-sized bed on the far wall, with a wide set of chest of drawers on the wall opposite it. There is a window overlooking the backyard. There is a nightstand on one side of the headboard, a rocking chair on the other. There are a number of mirrors hanging from the wall, as well as pictures of the children. There are visible scuff marks on the window sill, which look an awful lot like footprints.
The Infirmary A long room lined with cots meant for Caaguru's patients. There is a small end table in between any two beds, containing medical supplies. -
Attic
Caaguru's Room The entirety of the attic is Caaguru's domain. There are potted plants suspended from the ceiling in many places. To the left of the staircase is a large closet, and to the right is a bookcase full of medical and spiritual texts. In front of the bookcase is a rectangular table with four chairs. On the furthest wall, there is a large, circular stained glass window looking over the front yard, and a short, rounded set of steps leading up to it. Across the room from said window is her bed, king-sized, as is standard in the house. There is a nightstand on one end of the headboard. There is also a set of cabinets close by, containing tools and trinkets, rocks, crystals, vials, dried herbs and whatnot. The counter area atop it is occupied by more plants, and a few open and annotated books. Pictures of the family appear randomly on the wall, which is also plastered with words and pretty pictures, like a collage. There are also numerous diagrams focusing on different parts of the body. Fairy lights are strung from the ceiling, and glow softly in all colors.
The Stairs There is a single stairway which descends to the second floor.
Basement
The Common Area There is a lot of open space in the basement, with all the rooms branching off it. Toward one end of the common area is a large couch, which is most often used as an overflow bed. Beside it is a tall lamp.
The Pantry A large closet full of dry, raw ingredients such as flour, sugar, and herbs.
The Closet Full of extra coats and scarves.
The Laundry Room A large room with a washing machine and dryer on the wall opposite the doorway. A wide, tall shelf is built into the wall perpendicular to the machines, and is full of excess laundry supplies and carefully kept stocked.
The Gym Contains a treadmill, punching bag, stationary bike, bench press, and medicine balls.
The Cellar The place for all non-perishable foods that don't belong in the pantry- canned goods, produce that doesn't need to be refrigerated, wines, and a surplus of bottled water, in case of emergencies.
Jegero's Room A king-sized bed along one wall, as well as nightstands on either side of the headboard, with a wide set of chest of drawers along the opposite wall. A large stereo set sits atop a nightstand on the wall across from the doorway. Rock band posters line every wall.
The Bathroom Another standard bathroom.
The Stairs There is a single set of stairs, which leads up to the ground floor. -
Wow, that is huge and very expensive.
-
"We're not too worried about it."
-
Really?
-
She crosses her arms, looking at Angel with a curious expression.
"Yeah. We're a big family, and most of us make really good money. We're set for life." -
"Okay." Angel frowned.
-
She smirks.
"What could you possibly have to frown about?" -
"My house is not that big." Angel raised an eyebrow. How could she ask me that?
-
(who is that?? how did she get in the house???)
-
(I don't know Rainy let it be I wanna see where this goes)
She tilts her head, still looking amused.
"I have a lot of people to house. There has to be room for the whole family to gather when need be." -
(okay, well... mind if I cut in?)
-
(you literally live here Lainey please come in)
-
"Uhu. Whatever you say." Angel crossed her arms, and frowned at the girl. She thinks she is better..
-
She comes fully into the living room where the two are talking. She is tailed by a young boy and carrying an even younger girl.
"I, uh.. thought Zion was gonna be here."
