Hensley dialed in 911 and quickly explained the situation. She hung up and knelt down beside him, keeping a thumb on his pulse.
After what felt like forever to her she saw a bunch of medics running towards the two of them. They fixed him up a little then they put him on a stretcher and brought him back to the ambulance that was parked right outside the forest.
Hensley was offered to ride in the back of the ambulance with them and she accepted. She felt like she couldn't abandon him now, and plus she was slightly intrigued by him. -
Silf grunted softly as he felt himself being moved, bloodloss taking effect and slowing his thoughts. He slowly slipped unconscious, vaugly registering the people around him

The doctors said they had done everything they could do for him, now they just had to see if it would work. The doctors had also said he had a strong will to live. Hensley sat in a chair next to him wondering about this man that had been shot in the forest, what fueled his determination to live, and so on. -
Silf slowly came back to his senses, blinking open his eyes against the bright lights. He bit back a pain noise when he tried to move, and just layed still, slowly looking around. He recognized the room as one from a hospital, but didnt recognize the girl next to him

"You're awake!" Hensley exclaimed. She had changed into a different set of clothing and had taken a shower so she did look slightly different from before when dhe jad been covered in his blood.

Hensley realized he didn't remember her. She wasn't surprised, really. "I heard a gunshot in the forest," she started explaining. "I went to check it out and found you nearly dead."
