Silf twisted to lept back to try to evade them, stabbing one of them in the throat in response. He felt pain blossoming on his arm and snarled, knowing he had been cut
-
One of the men drew out a pistol and shot Silf. He flinched when he realized he had forgotten to put a silencer on it.
Hensley whipped her head towards the sound of a gunshot. She stepped out of the water and put her sandals on, not sure if she should investigate or not. -
Silf heard the gunshot and was temporarily deafened, baring his teeth in a feral way as he lunged for the man that had shot him, blood lust clouding his mind as he ignored the pain in his chest
-
It sounded like it was from the forest a little ways away. Hensley hesitated to go see what was happening. She knew that sometimes people would hunt there.
The man yelled and his gun spiraled out of his hands. The others tore Silf off of him and kicked him where he had been shot. -
Silf grunted in pain and lashed out with his artificial claws, backing up as he started choking on his own blood
-
Hensley decided to check out what was going on and rushed in that direction.
One of the men said, "C'mon, let's go! He's going to die and someone may have heard us!"
So, they all scrambled away. -
Silf tried to force himself up, instinct telling him to hunt down his attackers, but his arms fell out from under him as he tried to cough out the blood slowly filling his lungs
-
Hensley was running through the forest trying to find what had happened. If it was an animal that had been shot then the hunter would have already taken it away. But she had a strange feeling it wasn't that. She tripped over a tree root and fell to the ground. Upon getting up she came face to face with a man bloody and laying on the ground. She gave a noise of surprise and scrambled away a bit.
-
He heard her and tried to get up again, twisting himself to look at the potental threat as he gasped for breath. He colapsed again as he spotted her, pressing a hand against the wound on his chest
-
Hensley stared at him with a shocked expression on her face for a moment before she shook herself back into reality, realizing that this man needed help and he needed it now.
She knelt next to him and bit her lip. She might be able to get him to her house in one piece, but beyond that she didn't know what she could do besides call a doctor.
"Can you walk?" she asked quietly. -
He made a weak noise in response, his vision darkening as he fought to breath. He tried to push himself up again, shaking now
-
Hensley immediately gave him support, holding most of his weight on her. She could feel his blood staining through her clothes and trickling down her back, but she paid no mind to that.
-
Silf did his best to support himself, but wasnt sure how long he would be able to stay standing
-
She started walking a bit. The two of them had gotten rather far, considering the circumstances, but Hensley couldn't drag him on anymore. She carefully laid him back down on the ground. He wouldn't be able to move much more and she was worn out. "I'm going to call an ambulance," she said, taking deep breaths.

Silf didn't respond, barely consius at this point
