He looks over the paper one more time, then sets it down on the desk.
"If he is, he didn't see fit to include that information on his application." -
She waves a hand dismissively.
"That's ridiculous, why even bother? He'd have been better off leaving his desired position open. I'm not teaching some kid medical science from the ground up. That's what schooling is for." -
"The lady has spoken. Goodbye, enemy Mason."
He sets the paper down in a separate pile and picks up a new one.
"Next up is Jacqueline Pullman. 25. Has no prior experience with the agency. Claims to be good with weapons and hand to hand combat, but again, has no previous experience or accolades that can confirm that. Wants to join because.. oh, wow. Because it pays well. Very honest, at least." -
He laughs. He doesn't know what else to do.
"No way! Ha, that's awful. I'm saying no." -
"I agree with Noah."

"I can't imagine joining an organization like this for the money. Feels almost evil."

"Yeah, I'm not a fan myself. Let's move on."
He sets the application down in the appropriate pile and picks up another.
"Vaughn Sullivan. 19 years old, no prior experience. Says he studied Japan for a school project a couple years ago and was drawn in by the story of the demonic revolution. He wants to understand them better and is willing to work long hours."
He looks up from the paper.
"He was very sure to include the fact that he's willing to work long hours." -
"Oooh, I got a good feelin about this one."

"Did he specify a position?"

"Ahh, nope. He says he'll take any position we're willing to give him, and he's willing to learn any skills he may need."

"Sounds good to me."

"Me too. We could definitely give him a chance."

"Cool! That's a yes to Vaughn."
He places the paper on top of Andrea's and picks up the next one.
"Now we have Michael Chen.... Uhh..." -
"What?"
