Caroline was taking a brisk walk. She shivered for she had not brought a jacket and it was freezing outside.

Talis strutted across the street, blissfully unaware of the car that had just turned the corner. Just in time, he turned to face it, and he quickly ran across the street. He figured that there was no hurry… unless you were about to get hit by a car. His parka protected him against the chilly wind. It’s really cold outside today, he observed.

Caroline walked down the sidewalk and stuck her headphones on her head. Yes, she loved listening to music as she walked places. She only ever listened to music she knew ever since she was born. Once a year Caroline would discover a new song that she loved. -
They should know each other, since in the plot it says they only told C1's friend. Also, this is an alt of mine if you didn’t already know))
Talis hoped his friend Caroline was doing well. By no means were they in a relationship. He just wished that she was doing okay. He knew she liked to listen to music for some reason. Talis didn’t know how he knew that; she surely hadn’t mentioned it to him.
