Wren drummed her fingers against the wooden table, feeling awkward. "So, uh, what brings you to the woods?"

"Oh. Just, dropping in i guess

"Just dropping in?" Wren said, her tone heavy with disbelief. "Are you sure about that?"

Sgrios rumbled softly "i was trying to make a joke" he grumbled to himself, his ears folding back

"Oh," Wren said, biting her lip. She didn't want to say "sorry" again, because she'd been saying it way too much. The situation became far too awkward for her to handle so she racked her brain for an excuse. "I'm just gonna go see to the vegetables."

Sgrios rumbled again in response seeming tired

Wren took the blanket and wrapped it a little tighter around his shoulders, giving him a pat before leaving. Misty ran after her, demanding to know why she had given Sgrios a pat and not him. Ray coiled around Sgrios' legs.

Sgrios made a little happy noise when she patted him, leaning against the arm of the couch

Wren smiled before going out to "see to the vegetables". She fished a huge hairy thing out of her garden and tossed it as far as it would go, where it landed with a heavy think. -
Sgrios's ears twitched as he listened to the faint noise she made, relaxing on the couch and dozing off

Wren came back and saw Sgrios curled up on the couch and her heart nearly exploded.
