"He probably had to go home." Felix said.

"Well there should always be someone working here, right? It is a police station," Rasia said.

"I'll check." Felix said, going to look for someone.

Rasia trailed after Felix. She didn't want to be alone and his presence comforted her.

Felix walked up to a police officer. "Where can we stay for the night?" he asked.

"Here, I'll show you," the officer said, and started leading them through some hallways of the station.

Felix followed him.

After a few moments they reached a room with sofas and armchairs and coffee and some fruit and muffins..

Felix eyed the muffins. "I hope we don't have to pay for those if we eat some." he said.

"I think they're more of a 'courtesy of the station' type of thing," Rasia said.

"And the hospital says they want to help you yet you have to pay for your wellness." he said.

"I don't think you get a bill for how many bananas you eat," she said with a shrug.

Felix let out a laugh.

Rasia smiled in response. It was the first time she had heard Felix laugh and it was the first time he had seen her smile.

Felix looked over to her. "You seem to be in a better mood." he said.
