Axel huffed and turned to Rasia. "Did I or did I not save you multiple times?"

"You did," she said quietly. "But I still don't understand why. or why it matters"

"Because I love you." Axel said.

Rasia looked up at him.
"No you don't," she spat. "You only love tormenting me. You only love using me to satisfy your maniacal needs."
(A nice test to use is to take 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and every time it says 'love' replace it with the person's name) -

"Incorrect." he said. -

"You don't understand what love is, do you," Rasia said.

"I completely understand what love is." said Axel. -

"Then what is it," Rasia said. -
"It's where you have a special affection to someone and would die for them." he said.

Rasia was shocked that Axel, the man who had inflicted so much pain on her, was willing to die for her. She quickly got herself together then said, "And what about when no one's life is in danger? What is love then?"

"Then I'd hurt myself for you." he said.

"Then why do you go out of your way to hurt me," Rasia said. "That's not love. It's not full of threats and abuse. It's not terrorizing someone into doing what you want. It's not manipulating or self-seeking."

"Because I don't know how to love so it's hard for me to love! Is that a good enough answer for you or can you still not understand?!" Axel yelled.

(WELL, SOMETIMES LOVE CAN BE A TEENSY WEENSY BIT DOMINANT. *looks at parents* I learnt that from a young age unfortunately >:'()
