Axel came across the room Rasia was in and smirked. “Oh my dear girl, you made a terrible mistake hiding in plain sight.” He said with a disappointed click of his tongue.

She let out a whimper of fear and abandoned trying to open the window, instead she backed up into a corner. She tried remembering what she was supposed to do. A song, she remembered,.but what was the tune,what were the lyrics? She could feel it on the tip of her tongue, but she just couldn't remember

Axel went up to the corner and held the knife to her throat. He then looked at the knife in disgust. “This is a special occasion, I should use something else. Sadly I don’t have anything on me except my gun and knife.” He muttered.

Rasia was trembling, her lip quivering. He was going to kill her now, she was going to die.
Suddenly she remembered the first word of the song and the others came with it. Her voice was shaky and only but a whisper. "H-Hush-H-Hushabye, B-Blushaby sweet little one..." she began to sing faintly. -
Axel stared at her as if she had two heads. He started getting into the song and a small part of him calmed down. Axel dropped the knife onto the desk beside the bed and sat down on the floor to listen to Rasia.

"The sun...says goodnight to the sky," Rasia's legs couldn't support her anymore. She sank to the ground, making herself as small as possible. "The stars m-mark the night as pinholes of light, and I am right here by your side."

Axels skin turned back to normal and his eyes stopped making blood tears. He edged himself closer to Rasia and gazed at her with awe written all over his face.

Rasia's breath was quick and shaky, like she was taking gasps instead of breaths. She couldn't remember the rest of the words. Tears were pouring down her cheeks. If she stopped now would he suddenly try to start ending her life again?

Axel cocked his head and just sat there. “Well, That was beautiful.” He finally said.

Rasia didn't answer. She just stared at her knees, her entire body shaking in fear. -
“What’s wrong?” Axel asked nonchalantly as if he had done nothing wrong.

Her eyes flickered towards him for a second then returned back to her knees.

Axel realized what he did and regret and guilt washed over him. “Rasia...I am so sorry.” He said quietly.

Rasia took a few deep breaths before whispering, Get out of my house."

Axel took a deep breath and walked out of the room, and then out of the house.
