Bliss stared at him. “Um, I’m sorry. Did you say someone named Tioatoa would kill the person who bound you?!” She said in shock. Bliss was slowly started to regret ever reading the ritual.

Sgrios nodded "i dont think he will kill you though. He only killed them because they we using me to kill and destroy large numbers of people. He doesnt like that, so he took care of the problem as best he could. If he was capable, he likely would have killed me long ago" he said softly

Bliss gave him a pitiful look. “I’m sure he wouldn’t.” She said in a gentle voice.

Sgrios made a low chittering sound "i know he would. He has tried, after all." He said

Bliss bit her lip as she thought about ways to change the subject. “Um, maybe it was to threaten you?” She said. Bliss knew how uncertain it sounded, but she gave it a shot.

"Maybe" he said, sounding unconvinced as he twisted his tail again

Bliss grabbed a smaller broom. “If you want to help, I have a broom in you size.” She offered.

Sgrios blinked up at her and then took the broom, seeming a little amused

“Don’t ask questions.” Bliss said, trying not to burst out in laughter.

"Erm. Ok?" Sgrios said, his ears twitching

Bliss started sweeping, she would glance at Sgrios every few minutes to see if he was doing alright.

Sgrios helped her sweep with the little broom, his tail draped over his shoulders to keep it out of the way

She got the dustpan and finally swept up the last pieces of dirt. “That was harder than usual for some reason.” She said.
