Azure padded after his friend

They didn't have to walk far for them to stumble upon a village that Pratterx didn't even know existed. It was full of elves in grass huts that all stared at the duo when they appeared.

Azure stood near Pratterx, feeling nervous as he chittered

One elf came closer and asked "Are you two part of the Overlord's army?" Pratterx said "Umm, yes?" The elves then all sighed and the one elf said "Thank goodness. We were worried you were dwarves."

Azure blinked in confusion, the lizard tiltinh his head "why?

The elf said "The dwarves know we're allied with the Overlord and are constantly attacking us."

Azure frowned and tilted his head "so your friends?

The elf said "Yes we are. Have there been people attacking you?" Pratterx said "And boy are they. We didn't even do anything to them either."

Azure pouted and stomped a little "we just needed to buy some things

The elf said "Well, you're safe here. We'll protect you."

Azure grinned "thank you!

Pratterx said "Yeah, thank you. What's your name?" The elf said "Mastric." Pratterx asked "Do you happen to have a way to teleport to the Overlord's castle?" Mastric shook his head and said "I'm afraid not. But we have a way to contact him."

Azure tilted his head a little before looking at Pratterx "didnt we need to tell him something?"
