Pratterx said "Wait." He then sighed and ran after his excited friend.

Azure heard him and slowed down a little, but kept running

Pratterx caught up and said "It should be somewhere near the left side of the lake. We'll be home in no time."

Pratterx said "This way." and turned to the left.

Azure followed close behind him -
Soon they finally made it to the teleportation circle. Pratterx panted and said "Finally, we'll get this stuff to the Overlord and warn him about that hero."

"Hopefully this one works!" Azure chirped happily, exited to get home

Pratterx was about to step on the circle, when suddenly a blast of magic hit the circle and destroyed it. Pratterx was flung away by the blast and landed on Azure.

Azure yelped in alarm, picking Pratterx up and scrambling backwards in fear

Pratterx looked up and saw the wizard he saw earlier. He said "I know you. You work for the Overlord. The overlord that destroyed this fair village and killed my father." Pratterx said "What?"

Azure tilted his head and blinked, clearly confused

The wizard said "Don't play dumb. You two are part of his army. Even with these tieflings and and the others fixing it, it isn't enough. The overlord must pay." Pratterx said "Look we don't know what you mean. We didn't do it."

Azure blinked "we just got sent to buy stuff and got lost

The wizard said "Don't care! The overlord will pay." He then charged up a spell and said "And you will be first." Pratterx shouted "RUN!" and began running away from the wizard as he casted another spell.
