"Didn't you say you had to go to work before you left?" Turner asked.

"No," Callyn said. "I thought you asked if I wanted to do anything tomorrow, or something like that and I said I have to work."

"Hm." Turner said, a little suspicious.

"I'm sorry if I misunderstood you," she said

"No, I was just thinking of something." he said.

"What about?" she asked.

"Whether what my dad said was true or not. It's probably false though." he said. Turner was unsure whether Callyn liked him for him, or liked him for his popularity.

"I can assure you it's not true," Callyn said.

"Good, I totally wasn't worried about it." he said.

Callyn smiled a little and rolled her eyes. "You worry too much."

"As do you." Turner shot back.

"Touche," Callyn said with a little nod of her head.

"So when you get off work tomorrow, how about we go to Mamita's? I heard they were having a special lunch menu there." he said.

"I work all day," she said. "Sorry."
