"Come on, let's just do it," Callyn said. "And I give you permission to take embarrassing pictures of me failing at ice skating."

“And we leave for the rink right now.” Turner said, delighted at the thought of doing that.

"I shouldn't have done that," Callyn said to herself. "I'm going to regret this, aren't I?"

Turner smirked. “Maybe, maybe not.” He said. He opened the car door for Callyn and started driving towards the rink once she got in.

They got to the rink. There were windows between the rink and a room with tables and a counter where you could buy food. There was another counter where you got your skates. The Zamboni was driving over the ice, adding a clean sheen to it.

“Here we are.” Turner said. He went to go get some skates. “What’s your shoe size?” He asked Callyn.

"Nine," she answered. "And yes I have biggish feet."

Turner took a pair of skates after he was given them and gave Callyn hers. “Now, just hold onto my arm when we get on the ice.” He said.

Callyn sat down in a chair and put her skates on. She stood up and immediately started losing her balance. She gripped the table for support. "I think first I need to be able to walk in shoes with knives on the bottom."

Turner grabbed her arm and tried reaching her how to walk on skates. “You have to walk slowly.” He said.

(I can run on ice skates (not on ice though))
After about thirty seconds she had walking on skates under control. The two of them walked to the rink. When they opened the doors they were met with frigid cold air. -
HOW?!)
Turner breathed in the cold air and sighed contently. “Now first things first, we have to teach you to skate.” He said, pulling Callyn onto the slippery ice. -
Callyn gripped Turner's hands tightly as she slowly moved across the ice. She felt like she was going to fall on her face ispf she moved an inch.

Turner walked Callyn around the rink. “About a few more times and you should be able to start walking on the ice.” He said cheerfully.

"Okay..." Callyn said. She was entirely dependent on Turner in this situation.
