She sighed. "I was not expecting that when I came home/"

"We don't expect a lot of things in life." Turner said. "But it still happens anyways."

"Oh I almost forgot," Callyn said. She pulled a slip of paper out of her pocket. "Your application."

"Oh thanks!" Turner said, taking the paper from her.

(I just realized if they accept him Turner and Callyn are going to be working at the same job after he kicks her out)
"I won't be surprised if they hire you," she chuckled. -
(Awkward)
"You're right, I do have the charm." he said. -
She laughed. "I just see all the ladies coming in trying to woo you."

"I have only one lady on my mind." he said.

Callyn felt her heart skip a beat at those words. Why had it done that? She tried to continue the conversation they had just been having as they neared the house. "They'll probably also hire you because you're famous and will draw more people in."

"Works for me as long as I get to be with you." Turner said.

Callyn was saved from answering by the arrival at his house. She took her two bags and got out of the car.

"Let me take those for you." Turner said, reaching for the bags.

"Turner I can carry things myself," Callyn said, taking them out of his reach.n

"Well excuse me for trying to be a gentleman." He muttered.

Callyn chuckled. "Sorry."
