Flame en Yon hopped onto the train, his backpack hanging over his shoulders. He walked down the aisle, nearly tripping over the leg of a man asleep half in a booth, half out. He continued walking until he found an empty booth in a secluded area. He was shy and didn't want to have to talk more than needed.
Rebecca Harcourt waved to her best friend, Emily, before stepping onto the train. She'd been visiting her out of town for a week, and her trip was finally over. She selected a comfortable booth across from a sleeping man and set down her large travel suitcase. She brought out her phone and began answering her many unread messages. -
Nickola was that man sleeping in the booth. He woke up as he heard movement near him. He sat straight up as he realized the position he had been sitting in. He scoffed to himself. How undignified of him.
Kenna walked onto the train, babbling into her phone. Suddenly the person on the other end hung up. "Hello?" she asked the empty line. She looked at her phone and saw that they had hung up. "Rude," she said, putting her phone in her pocket and went to go find a seat. -
-
A tall and good looking gentlemen entered the train, his large hat covering his face in an alluring and mysterious manner. He carried about with him an air of nonchalance and impressiveness, or he would if it weren't for the little demon he was carrying.
Nathan was the size of a five year old and absolutely ecstatic. He was going on a train trip with his guardian, the only person (this being a broad term considering that neither were human) who had ever bothered to look after him. -
Rebecca put away her phone, bored, then took it back out again, scrolling through her many selfies of herself. She raised up her phone to take another one when the man sat up and a few more passengers stepped onto the train. She sighed. Now she couldn't take a selfie without them looking at her. She put her phone away for the second time and leaned back in her seat.
Flame took out a water bottle and began sipping it, glancing at the new passengers boarding the train. -
Once it was determined that no one else was going to board the train, the vehicle took off, chugging away, carrying its passengers to their destinations.
-
Nathan sprang away and crawled into a random cabin, which was occupied by Flame. He hopped into her lap, purring. "Hi!" he said brightly, having no concept of personal space.
-
Flame was startled, but grinned. "Hey! Wassup, little dude?" he asked happily, looking around for a parent. He didn't want to hurt the kid's feelings.
Rebecca glanced at the two new passengers, one of whom was a tall person wearing a hat. She rolled her eyes when the kid dashed past her into another cabin, occupied by someone else. "Whatever." -
Chandler looked at Flame suspiciously, but trusted Nathan's judgement. The small demon was usually attracted to people or things that would treat him well.
"The ceiling is up!" Nathan said, his tail flicking sporadically. "Me and Dad are going on a trip on the long metal bug. You're in the metal bug too!" -
NIckola peered at the little boy...whatever it was. He looked away, out the window. Although it was a bit more inconvenient to travel in this manner, trains fascinated him in a way.
Kenna sat near a dark-skinned person with ombre hair. She propped her legs up on the seat in front of her carelessly.
