Sharpsight just sat in an alleyway. Alleyways were her favorite places: peaceful and quiet. Also, if the need arose, it was a great battlefield.
-
Gloria walked outside to see if she dropped anything else. She came across the alleyway Sharpsight was sitting in. “Hello, are you okay?” She asked.
-
"Yep," Sharpsight said, tearing her gaze away from Gloria. Now, she was fixated on a Dumpster. She stood up. "Well, I'd better go now. My mom wants me home for lunch."
-
"Oh, see you around." Gloria said with a small smile, as she waved goodbye and went back to the apartment.
-
Sharpsight didn't smile back. She just headed to a different alleyway.
-
Gloria got curious and started following her, making sure that SharpSight didn't see her.
-
Sharpsight turned and walked into a vacant apartment, then rode the elevator up like she belonged there.
-
-
Gloria raised an eyebrow. Surely they hadn’t gone up there. She shrugged it off and went to her own apartment. Maybe she could go over and invite the person over.
-
Sharpsight, heart beating quickly, took off her clothes and showered. The warm water felt so good on her back.
-
As Gloria walked into her apartment, she decided to see if the girl needed anything. After all, she doubted that was where the girl lived. One of her friends lived in the building, and always told Gloria when there were new neighbors.
-
Sharpsight locked the door of her room she hadn't paid for (better than stealing someone else's room). That was close. You need to be more alert, she scolded herself.
-
Gloria called her friend. She frowned once she got off. Apparently, the girl did not live there. (Nosy aren’t you Gloria. -.-)
She marched over to the building and went up the elevator towards the room SharpSight was in. -
(Remember, the door is locked.)
Sharpsight frowned and took out a book. She started reading it to kill time. -
Yes, I know.)
Gloria ran over to the room her friend had said that Sharpsight went in. She took a breath as she knocked on the door.
