Maxie came over immediately, looking for Flurry. Unfortunately, Flurry wasn’t present, but Maxie stayed right by Jax's side.

"Flurry's pretty energetic, makes sense she had to recharge her batteries," Jax replied nonchalantly.

Jax grinned and petted Maxie, who was now jumping up and down uncontrollably.

Jax looked deep in thought, which he almost never was. "Is Leo getting along with Flurry?" Jax asked.
