Jax texted Aspen: School starts tomorrow... might as well savor the weekend while you still have it. -
Aspen heard her phone go off she looked to see a text from Jax she texted back i am savoring it. by sleeping

Jax played with his two-month old golden retriever puppy and heard a ding from his phone. He raced to it, read Aspen's reply, and laughed to himself. Come on, it's ten already. Haven't you slept enough?

Jax let out a hearty laugh/sigh and went back to take Maxie out for a walk. His petty two-year-old sister, Grace, tried to follow him outside, but he said firmly, “No, Grace.”

Aspen finally rolled out of bed, got dressed and walked down stairs

Breathing in fresh air made Jax feel relaxed. Maxie made a big number two, and Jax's face scrunched up. He took out a plastic bag and scooped up Maxie's poop. Together, man and man's best friend walked to a place known as the dog park.

She walked outside. she thought for a moment, For sure Jax is taking Maxie to the dog park. she'll meet him there. She made her way to the dog park

Jax saw Aspen. “You're up already?” He teased her. Maxie leapt up, trying to get on Aspen's legs. “No, Maxie,” Jax soothed.

"hey be happy i even cared enough to meet you here" she said with a laugh as she pet Maxie

Jax replied, “So funny I forgot to laugh.” Then he chuckled and sat down on a bench. “How are you today?” Jax asked Aspen. “Sleepy is my guess,” he said.
