The little reception they had passed with much joy and mirth.
Now, it was evening, and everyone was going to bed.
"You two little love birds go have fun," Tessa said as she walked to her bedroom. -
"Wait, Tessa come back! What exactly do you mean by that?!" Jewel exclaimed, her face turning bright red.

Tessa smirked. "You know exactly what I mean," she said. She waved her fingers. "Buh-bye," she said, and walked down the corridor.

If Jewel had water, she would've choked on it.
"I know we should sleep in the same bed now, but good grief that's very bad of Tessa to say.” Jewel gasped. -
Adrian chuckled. "What do you expect, she's a demon," he said. He wrapped an arm around Jewel's waist. "Let's go to bed," he said.

"Waaaait." Jewel wriggled away from him. "The good kind of 'go to bed' where you just sleep, or the naughty kind?"

"Whichever you feel comfortable with," Adrian said.

"I'm comfortable with both, to be honest." Jewel mumbled. "But I am leaning towards the naughty side."

"Then let's go," Adrian said. "Kendril gave us a larger room since we're both going to be in it. We'll have to move our stuff tomorrow."

"That’s really nice of him.” Jewel said.

They entered the room and didn't emerge until morning.

"I'm so tired." Jewel whined.
She and Adrian didn’t get any sleep last night. They had been doing "things". -
"Then sleep," Adrian mumbled, pulling her closer to him.

"But we have to get up." Jewel groaned.

"No we don't," Adrian murmured.
