"Henry told us you were in your room in a blue dress singing," James said.
"And I, being able to read your mind, was able to find out the exact song," Adrian said. -
“Fricking tattletales.” Jewel muttered.

"Anyway, back to the matter at hand," Kendril said. Even though he was the only one there without any sort of special abilities he was the one that everyone unspokenly agreed was the one in charge.

“Which was?” Jewel inquired.

"Basically what we can do to help our efforts without putting you in danger when you're not ready," Adrian saif

“Ah.”

"So here's a summary of what we've talked about so far," Adrian said. "Basically Kendril's not happy because it's been a few months and the only progress we seem to have is you getting more powerful. But even that's a little risky because the more powerful you are the more use you are to Lucifer, but we need you to be powerful in order to stop him."

"So the problem is I'm powerful yet it's bad that I'm powerful?" Jewel said.

"It's both good and worrisome," Henry said.

"That's unfortunate." Jewel said.

"Yeah," Adrian said. "And basically all we're doing is keeping you out of Lucifer's grasp."

"Is there any way to fix it?" Jewel asked.

"Your powers are developing well, but they're very spontaneous,' Henry said.
"I think I know someone who will be able to help," Kendril said. "She's also a mage, she can help you learn to control them."
"Oh and I can't?" Henry said.
"Well you haven't so far, so someone else has to," Kendril said.
