He let her do it. He let her do anything she thought she needed to do.

At one point it hurt so much that she accidently punched Adrian hard.

After what felt like forever, Big Ben chimed midnight and Jewel's pain stopped.
She had fallen unconscious. Adrian carried her out of the room. Both he and Jewel were a mess. -
Jewel clung onto Adrian and didn't let go.

Adrian went to Jewel's room and laid her down on the bed.

Jewel hung on to him as if to say, "don't leave me."

Adrian tried to pry her fingers off of him but didn't succeed. He sat down in the armchair in the corner with her on his lap.

Jewel slept on his lap.

Adrian wrapped her in his arms and drifted to sleep himself.

Jewel cuddled him.

Adrian woke up at about noon. But he needed the sleep.

Jewel woke up as well and got off Adrian. "You go sleep." she said.

"I'm fine I've been sleeping for twelve hours," he said.

"Adrian you need to go sleep in an actual bed." she said.

"Look who's calling the kettle black," Adrian pointed out.
