C1 should be dead. Why aren't they dead? The last thing they remember was a honk of a car's horn, and a blinding flash of light, then...nothing. Just blankness. Until they woke up in a hospital bed, perfectly healthy.
C2 was the lone witness to the near-fatal car crash of C1. In fact, they were the one who dragged C1's limp body out of the burning car. C2 thought C1 was dead for sure. When they saw the weak, severely injured person lying in a coma on that hospital bed, with a minuscule chance of surviving, C2 was torn apart. What if C2 had reacted faster? Could poor C1 have been saved?
Confused, C1 leaves the hospital and heads down a road, but not before stopping at a favorite place for many, the park. They sit on a bench and see someone strangely familiar...
C2 can't believe it. Didn't they just see C1 in a coma, nearly dead in the hospital? How are they sitting calmly on a park bench? C2 decides to confront them...but C1 doesn't remember anything.
The story will start with C2 seeing C1 in the hospital, and C1 waking up not long after.
Please keep in mind, C1 shouldn't remember much, other than basic things such as speaking, eating, etc. They may have flashes of memories, but nothing major.

A flash. Of what? She didn't know. She...she had a name. What was it...Isabelle! No. She didn't like Isabelle. Bella...yes, that's better. Where was she? Floating. It was dark. But blinding lights disturbed the quiet darkness and a deafening honk jolted her out of the dark.
Bella sat up in her bed. She flexed her fingers and spread them out wide. Where was she? A rather hard surface, she noted. She looked around and gripped the edges of the cot, not only holding on to the railing of the hospital bed but the flimsy hold on reality she had as well. -
Julian walked out of the hospital with a sigh. At least the girl was alive, but he didn't know if she would stay that way.
Julian was angry at himself. He should have gotten there sooner. He shouldn't have been frozen in shock before reacting. She was on her deathbed because of him. -
Bella, sitting on the edge of the cot, slowly stood up, testing her legs. She wobbled for a second, then stood straight, her heeled boots flat on the ground. She began walking to the door and turned the handle and walked out. In the hallway, doctors and nurses bustled by, not even seeming to see Bella in her casual clothes.
Bella walked down the hallway, shooting hesitant glances at the people before she finally relaxed and walked calmly. -
Julian walked to the park. The place helped him relax and think. He sat down on a park bench, the guilty feeling still strong inside his stomach.
-
The girl didn't know where she was going, or what sort of place she'd come from. All she knew was she had to leave. It was important.
Bella walked out of the front doors of the hospital and took a deep breath of the clean air.
