(Wow his father's set the bar pretty low lol)
Lindsey realized that the path she was taking took her rather close to Bricen. Please don't let him notice me, she repeated over and over in her head. -
-
Ikr, lol))
Bricen looked down at his feet, trying his best to conceal his anger. Before he had realized it, his father had hung up. He then acquired he had no choice but to do what his father had demanded as the fluctuating air continued to swirl around the wavering tree leaves. -
So far so good, but she was still nearing the man. Maybe if she kept on repeating those words in her head over and over again it would be true.
-
Suddenly, a snap of a twig was heard close by; he whipped around, before noticing Lindsey, a fellow classmate of his class, had accidentally stepped on a twig. He was now filled with frustration, but didn't dare make his father wait any longer. Scolding himself in his mind, he then turned around before beginning to swiftly jog away.
-
Lindsey was surprised. Something must have happened that was too important for him to come and clobber her. She went on her way, now having nothing of danger on her path.

Soon, he had arrived at the footstep of his house. Gulping down his fear, he brought his hand to his arm, feeling the tenseness which grew inside of him.
-
After a bit, Lindsey got home. She walked inside. "I'm home!" she called.
