He hesitated, before nodding. "Thanks... Last time they tried to choke me." And with that, he gestured for Lindsey to follow him.
Bricen and Cameron snickered silently, watching as the cowards prepared to make a run for it. -
Lindsey did follow him as fast as she could. She hoped the two of them could outrun the bullies, but neither of them were really the sporty.type
-
The two of them outran the bullies; fortunatly.
Bricen and Cameron struggled to keep up. "Bro, can't you go faster!" Bricen shouted, continuing to go after them. "No, you're too slow!" Yelled Cameron as a reply. -
"Ok, I think we're good," Lindsey said as she slowed down to a walk.
-
Finn slowed to her pace as the wind calmed to a gentle, yet cool zephyr. "Thanks." He heaved, placing his hand on a small log nearby.
-
"The breeze feels nice," Lindsey commented. She sat down on a fallen tree. "I'm glad we got away from them."
-
"Yeah, it's a sunny day today," Finn added, smiling. "I am, too. Bullies are no good; nothing but people with brains the size of an ant."
-
"I've never been physically hurt by a bully," Lindsey realized. "It's always been verbal. I wonder why."

"Well, you're fortunate!" Finn joked. "Once they get their nasty little claws on you, trust me; it's gonna hurt badly in the end." He glanced down at his arm, before looking back into Lindsey's reflective eyes. "I still have the scar, haha."
-
(Ok, we need to get Bricen and Lindsey together, not Finn and Lindsey)
"Oh I'm so sorry," Lindsey said. She sighed. "I have to go, I'm expected back home soon. Take care." And she started walking away from the place. -
Lmhoooooo-))
"Oh, alright..." Finn silently whispered, sadly waving his hand in a repeated pattern to signal a goodbye as his shoulders sagged willingly.
Bricen, frustrated, shook his head, before he got a call from his father. Slightly anxious, he picked up his phone, and tapped the bright green button, which had immediately stopped the vibration. -
Lindsey was walking for awhile on her way out of the park when she saw Bricen a number of yards away. She considered taking a detour, but he was on a phone call, so hopefully he wouldn't notice her.
-
"Son, where the frick are you!?" His father demanded angrily.
"I-I'm at the park with Cameron..." He muttered, turning away from Cameron so he couldn't hear his and his father's conversation.
"Well, get your stupid self over here and do your chores! I'm ashamed to call you a son of mine, Brice."
