Yesh))
Sunfall flicked his tail from side to side, gazing into the small shimmering puddle unsteadily. It had reminded him of something, but he couldn't make out what the memory was. -
Acornberry kept close to the river as she hustled alongside a large, silvery, fish that moved down the river. She hissed with frustration as she tried catching several times, but horribly missing.
“Fox-dung!” She snarled, trying to snatch it up. -
I'm ready!))
Splashpelt jumped into the river, laughing happily. Unlike most cats, she loved the water. Ever since she was a kit, the water had been her friend, her home, her refuge. -
Acornberry groaned in annoyance as Splashpelt sprayed the air with small orbs that gleamed in the sunlight. Her prey got away as well, as she fumed.
“I could’ve caught that, genius!” She groaned, hopping into the river to bat at her friend’s ears. -
"AGH!" Splashpelt said in surprise. "I didn't see you there, I thought you were pine needles or something. Sorry!"
(I actually didn't see you there, I late posted lol) -
Sunfall moved away, annoyed with himself. What was he ever even thinking? He wasn't special... "You, coward!" Snickered a voice from behind.
-
Acornberry sighed, “it’s fine.”
With an exasperated groan, she shook her fur out, “let’s head back to camp.” -
"But I just got here," Splashpelt whined, crawling out of the river anyway. She shook herself off, turning into a blue fluff.
-
-
Sunfall huffed in annoyance, now turning to see his former bully, Snaketooth. "What do you want, Snaketooth?" He groaned.
-
Acornberry winced as water sprayed her pelt. The she-cat climbed out of the river and gave herself a long shake, drying herself within a couple of seconds.
-
Splashpelt padded amiably beside Acornberry, her fur beginning to flatten. "Isn't today a great day for something exciting?" she said brightly. "I can feel it in my paws. Something great is going to happen today."
-
“I dunno, everyday can be exiting as long as you’re in the right place.” Acornberry looked back at the stream, anticipation gnawing at her.
