"Alright." He waved to her as she grew more distant, before shouting after Tessa; "Safe travels!"
Yesh, it really is!)) -
"To you as well," she shouted back. She walked out of the King's forest as fast as possible. She could not believe any of that had happened.
-
Finally, when she was out of sight, he turned to go back to his beloved kingdom.
-
(He's a spoiled brat, remember?)
Tessa finally crossed the border. She simply could not believe that had happened. All nobility hated peasants. It was literally in their blood. After the Norman conquest, the Normans became the royalty and then everyone else became nothing. Absolutely nothing. It was strange thinking that someone actually cared. -
He's kinda confusing. He can be spoiled, he can be nice. He can be untrustworthy, he can be loyl. Unpredictable, more like. :P))
"Urgh..." He grunted as he held his side with his right hand. He needed to get inside, and fast. He then began speed-walking. -
(That makes more sense)
Tessa still wasn't sure how to react. It was completely unthinkable that it had happened, but it had. Eventually she got home. -
-
Soon, he had arrived at the front door. Instead of knocking, he hesitantly made his way inside the empty kingdom.
-
-
Tessa immediately got to work on the chores around the house. She started with the dough for the bread.
-
"Where have you been?" A soldier grunted as he spotted the prince.
-
After the dough was ready, Tessa put it on the hearth so that it would bake.
-
Chris desperately looked around, searching for an excuse. "Uh- hunting?" He smiled suspiciously. "B-but I didn't catch anything! Oh, how unfortunate!"
-
Tessa wondered why he had been so nice to her. A noble, especially a prince being kind to a seed was completely unheard of.
When the bread was done she set the small loaves on the table to cool. -
The guard, a little suspicion written on his face, then let Chris pass, before adding;
"You better have a good excuse for your mother, young man."
A little freaked by the soldier's amusement, Chris then continued forward.
He at least hoped he wouldn't run into his mother.
