Adria noticed her friend's angry expression and touched her gently, giving her a soft look as if to say "Never mind him".

As he continued to walk angrily, he was only a few steps away when the weight of him dragging the cats began to get lighter. He looked back, and Vine had broken off the leash! He wore an alarmed expression. This had never happened before. He had never, never lost a cat.
Vine ran as soon as he got off the leash, and stopped when he got to Wilson. He got up in his lap again and purred, walked in a circle and sat down.
Nick looked over, seeing Vine with Wilson. "What the crap. It's not like Vine is even his cat or anything." -
Wilson squeaked a little in surprise, but bent down to hug Vine as boofed

Nick stalked over. "Give me my cat." He said.
Vine looked at Nick, narrowed his eyes, pinned his ears back. He started with a low growl, and when his owner ignored him, he hissed. Then he turned to Wilson and began kneading his paws and purred loudly. -

Bea looked at her feet, she tried not to say anything. her best bet was not to show any of her emotions.

Wilson flinched when he heard his brother and Heather stood up, moving between the boys with her back against his legs. The canine then growled, loud and dangerous, warning him to back off

Tawny gave her owner a warning look. She knew this was a battle he did not want, or need, to fight.
Pine unsheathed his claws, only to find himself clawing at the ground. He didn't want people giving is owner looks like that, but he was smart enough to know he didn't want to fight Heather. Rather than, he glared at her and arched his back threateningly.
Shadow just glared at everyone. No one cared. He glared at them for not caring. No one still cares. Ugh. He hated this.
Vine continued to purr and rubbed against Wilson.
Whiskers and three other cats stood in a line, protecting their owner and the other cats who were either too scared or just didn't want to fight. Her and the others did anything to protect Nick. Her friends were really her siblings, and Nick had saved them when their mother had died. Except the larger one, who was still a close friend. Nick had still saved the large one. Now they owed him with their lives. She hissed threateningly at the dog, baring her teeth, and flicked her tail back and forth in a motion to inform everyone around her that she was not afraid to fight.
Marigold stood by Whisker's side. She was usually calmer, but seeing Heather threatening her owner got her angry. She pinned her ears back, but didn't attack. They wouldn't unless they were given the command.
Haze flicked his tail, in a sitting position on Whisker's other side. He gave Heather a warning look, and then turned his gaze to the other humans who looked threatening. He hissed at the females.
Aqua was in beside Haze. She stalked right up to Heather. Aqua was the most dangerous cat Nick owned. An F1 Savannah Cat. Many people despised Nick for letting a cat such closely related to a wild one run around his house, but Aqua wasn't like others. True, she was still five times the size of a normal cat, but she didn't tear up everything. Nick had saved her from people who wanted to buy her and kill her for her pelt. She may be a Savannah Cat, but she was beautiful and silver. She snarled dangerously, and raised a paw.
Nick shook his head at Aqua. "Not now." He said, and Aqua stepped back, still gave Heather a look, a dangerous one. "But I want my cat back, now." -
Heather bared her teeth at them and growled again, while Wilson gently tried to nudge Vine away, not wanting Heather to get hurt

Vine got up and stretched, but instead of leaving, climbed up onto Wilson's shoulder and glared at Nick.
"Well, that's funny. Still, only three to nine. Well, I guess five to nine. Still, you're outnumbered. And you've witnessed what Aqua can do if I give the command." A few years ago, Nick had told Aqua to attack a stray dog who had given Pine a wound. The dog accidentally died. It had been an accident. But Nick knew he could use it against his brother. -
Wilson seemed distressed and started crying again, before the blind teen abruptly stood up and walked away, shoving Vine off his shoulder. Heather glared at Nick and quickly ran after Wilson to make sure he didnt get hurt
