Lapis set the stone down and curled up into a sad, miserable ball. She held a shell close to her. These shells were her only comfort, these carvings were her only voice. -
Now she's just begging for pity XD))
Suddenly, SkyWings hovered above them. "Intruders!" They roared, before diving in to attack. -
Pfft))
Lapis saw a small soft glow nearby. She swam towards and found a plump little jellyfish. She held it close to her, a pleasant tingle running through her. -
He clenched a small perfectly round, blue pebble, until all the SkyWings which surrounded them were knocked out almost immediately. "Wow! Cool!" Starfish gaped in awe.

Lapis smiled and touched it to her face, her loneliness not so bad anymore.

"Now, let's get that jewel!"

Lapis carried it back home, bouncing it back and forth. It cuddled against her. She had never felt such a fast connection with something before.

They flared their wings, before diving down into the sky kingdom. He continued to clutch his pebble as more SkyWings flooded in with spears to attack them; he was determined to retrieve his jewel back. It would be terrible if the SkyWings kept it; they could rule over the other tribes! He hadn't meant for the jewel to be used that way. Swerving their wings and pacing to match the winding winds which surrounded their wings, they finally managed to land on a tall, flat stone surface.

Lapis held it, bouncing it softly. "I'll love you," she said with a flash. "Even if you can't understand me."

"There it is!" Starfish roared. "The sapphire you've enchanted!"

Lapis nuzzled the jellyfish once more before letting it look at its surroundings. She returned to her carving of the dragon she saw earlier. -

He swiftly snatched it, before grabbing Starfish's talons and yanking her into the air. "Hey!" She roared. "I'm capable of myself too, you know!"
