( Ugh, it's hard not to do more! )
Chris panicked, feeling his heart almost beat out of his chest. He fell from the gate, completely paralyzed, as if life itself had left him. -
(You can do plenty more, if you wish!)
The werewolves were roaming the streets tonight. She smirked. Tessa heard something fall near a gate, and her smirk vanished. What in the world? She stood over the body of a half-breed. Urgh. Good riddance, she thought and started walking away. -
Chris shot upward, hissing loudly. The girl left him for dead. Well, if anything, he wanted to kill. He would feast well tonight.

Suddenly, the fear returned, the icy grasp of death taking hold of him once again. Chris gasped, falling to his knees.

Tessa turned back around at the hiss with a death glare. Her smirk returned to her face, showing the tips of her sharp canines. "Serves your right, you half-breed."

The words snapped Chris right out of Death's Jaws.
"No one calls me half-breed!" Chris hissed, unsheathing his claws. -
Chris' single fang glinted in the moonlight, a challenge. Not that he expected her to know or care for the sacred rituals.

"But I just did," Tessa said with a sneer. "Can't change the past, can you?" -
"No, but I can remove your existence," Chris growled. "Even with only one fang I can take you down!"
Suddenly, a werewolf broke off from the mystic dance. It charged toward Chris, eyes blood red. -
"Oh really?" Tessa said. She saw the werewolf. She got out of the way and let it go for the half-breed.

Chris jumped onto the werewolf's back hissing with rage. But suddenly, he saw the mark. It was bohemian. Filled with new vigor, Chris ripped the werewolf's skin with his fang, silently drinking the blood and injecting his vile poison.

Tessa raised her eyebrows. "Impressive," she said. "I never would have expected something like that from you."
