Riverpelt padded up to Streampaw. "You seem to be waiting for something?"

"I just want to do something!" She mewed.

"Hunting then," Riverpelt said. "I'll teach you the best way to stalk...oh, whatever we come across."

"When can we go fishing? I want to learn to fish." She mewed.

"The creek near Colored Stones is a good place to start," Riverpelt said. "Let's go!"

Streampaw chased after him as they left. "Are there minnows there? I want to catch a minnow!"

"Indeed there are," Riverpelt said. "And those aren't the only things you can catch there!"

They got to the creek. "Ooh I see fish!" She mewed excitedly.

"Careful now," Riverpelt said. "You want to go low to the ground so they can't see you. Don't hover over the creek. Then when the time is right..."
He whipped out his arm and smacked a fish into the air, catching it in his jaws. -
Oh, so you remembered how it was described in 3 books? Well you forgot something))
"Ok! I want to try!" She spotted movement. "Ooh, a minnow! Can I try on that?" -
Alrighty then, I'll see what I forgot))
Riverpelt nodded, staying low to the ground. -
You forgot- 'don't let your shadow fall over the water' as Feathertail stated in The New Prophecy))
She darted out, used her paw to make the fish fly up, and it landed on the ground. Then she pounced on it, killing it. -
"Don't hover over the creek", that's what I used instead))
"Good job!" Riverpelt said. "That's very impressive." -
"Do we eat frogs too? There's a few over there." She gestured to a pair of green ones nearby.

"It's possible, but they aren't very pleasant to eat," Riverpelt said.
