Noah focused on his phone, and soon he felt the car beginning to slow down to a stop as they pulled up to a building. He put the electronic away, and saw that they had arrived at their destination.
"We're here." He heard his fsther announce, glancing back towards him. "It'll take a while inside." He said, as he got out, his mother followed behind. Noah nodded to himself, putting the device in his pocket and getting out as well. -
When Evelyn was done, she went to her room. She just did what she usually did. She put her earbuds into the radio and listened to music. She wasn't looking forward to today.

Evelyn heard little footsteps run into her room. She turned off her music. "What is it, Little Jessica?" she asked. She had recognized her footing. Jessica had always wanted to be called 'Little Jessica' because (being five) she was little.
"The Miss wants you downstairs," Jessica said, catching her breath. "The first family is here."
They had always called Miss Henderson 'The Miss'. Evelyn didn't even remember when the nickname got started or why.
"Already?" Evelyn said a little surprised. "I'll be down there soon."
Jessica nodded and quickly ran off to inform The Miss. Miss Henderson always wanted the older kids to actually meet the families that came. Evelyn made her way downstairs. -

Noah followed a few steps behind his parents as they approached the building and headed inside. The room was mostly empty, so Noah decided to take a seat in a random chair. "We'll be back. Just wait out here if you want." His mother said as his parents went up to a desk.

Evelyn was cold, so she went back upstairs to grab a jacket. As far as she had gathered, they all were the same color, so she didn't have much difficulty grabbing one and putting it on.
She went back downstairs and sat on the steps with a sigh, waiting for the inevitable to happen. -
Noah relaxed in the chair, waiting. He looked up after some time and nkticed his parents werent there anymore. They must have went on or something. He wasnt sure how long it would take here, so he looked at the time on his phone, and shut his eyes after a bit.

Miss Henderson was leading the two adults to the back yard where many of the kids were playing. She noticed Evelyn sitting on the steps that were near the back door. "Oh, Evelyn, dear, come meet Mr. and Mrs. Castle."
"Sir, Ma'am," Evelyn said. -
"Sir, Ma'am," Evelyn said, standing up facing where the voice had come from.

Noah's father, Jack, and his mother, Hannah, followed miss Henderson who led them to where the kids were at. They watched the kids playing around as they listened to miss Henderson talk to them, and tell them about some of them there. As they got out to the backyard, they were met with a girl there on the steps, who they hesrd Henderson call Evelyn. "Evelyn, you say?" Jack asked, giving a smile to her.
"Hello sweetie." Hannah spoke up. -

"Yes sir," Evelyn said. She felt nervous. She'd only ever gotten this much attention from a family once, and she had been rejected. "It's nice to meet you. How are you?"
