That was it. Yiren stepped up onto her seat walked onto the table and cat walked up to them. "No Lillian is mine." Yiren declared

Lillian jumped when Yiren spoke, having not noticed she was coming over. He looked at her in confusion and slight fear

"Um, excuse me?" Kita said. "He isn't "yours". He's not a possession, he's a human being."

Lillian started fidgeting with his sleeves, seeming incredibly nervous

"What is wrong with you?" Kita said angrily, sliding her tray of now stepped on food away.

Lillian looked like he was ready to bolt, thoroughly spooked

Kita pressed her fingers against her temples. This was a nightmare. She glanced over at Lillian, noticing that he looked scared. "Yiren, can we talk this over at a different time, or something?"
