"If you hurt me, I deserve it." Drakestorm mewed.
Dawnstar looked uncomfortable. -
The tabby tom sighed. "Fine. But don't blame MossClan for what happens next."
He lead the group to the clan, causing the cats to hiss. Treeslash unsheathed his claws, but Jadestone placed her tail on his chest as a gentle warning. -
Dawnstar approached them and placed the bird, three mice, and a season's worth of herbs at their paws. "We have come to apologize for our mistakes. We offer half of our fresh-kill pile to your clan for the next three moons and as many herbs as you need."
-
"Thank you," Fernstar said. "But prey is not what we wish for, and your clan is already hungry. There is a piece of territory that you own, the Green Grasses. Could we have that instead?"
The tabby tom blinked confusedly at Fernstar, but said nothing. -
Dawnstar's face fell. "Yes, you may... I suppose..."
-
Who's Drakestorm's mother? Fernstar?))
-
I was just getting to that))
"MossClan thanks you for your kindness," Fernstar said. "I-"
"Drakekit?" a black she-cat said, blinking rapidly. "Is that...is that you?" -
Drakestorm looked at the black she-cat. His mother. Emotion took over him and he felt himself blacking out, fainting.
Dawnstar looked down at his deputy. "Well, maybe I should've chosen a less-emotional one. Actually, I'm tired of his sadness all the time. He obviously doesn't belong in my clan." The patrol stalked away, leaving the banished warrior behind. -
Nightpelt ran over to her grown kit, frantically pacing around him. Treeslash's claws sheathed his claws and curled up next to Sightfall, his lamp-like eyes watching the scene.
-
Drakepelt stood up and shook out his pelt. But he wasn't in MossClan... was this... StarClan? But as soon as it had appeared, it disappeared. He woke up to see his mother pacing around him.
-
Nightpelt was trembling, her tail twitching feebly as she sat down, anxiously waiting. She saw her kit's eyes start to open. "Drakekit…?" she said tentatively.
-
"It's... it's Drakestorm now... Mother!" He tried to get up, but stumbled back over. He whimpered. "Mother... Please... Forgive me..."
-
"All is forgiven, my child," Nightpelt said, blinking tears away. "It's alright now."
Sightfall woke up and began to purr, feeling Treeslash beside her. He hugged her close to him, tears falling. -
"H-h-how can I be forgiven?! I almost killed somecat!" He wailed, really upset now.
-
Nightpelt glanced over at Sightfall and Treeslash. The white she-cat's ears pinned back as Treeslash whispered to her what Nightpelt was implying, but she sighed.
"You are forgiven," she said softly. "There is no need to be upset. StarClan has been merciful to us both."
