At last, he heard his name being called. He immediately launched up, before grabbing his armor, getting it on, grasping his bow and arrow, then running towards the battlefield.

Brielle snuck out of the fortress undetected and ran to where the army was gathering.
"Brielle!" Ronin, her friend and fellow soldier exclaimed. "You shouldn't be here, you're still hurt."
"I'm fine," Brielle said. "You didn't think I was just going to sit at home, right?" -
He ducked beneath some branches, before finding a good hiding spot, as well as distance, from where it was easier to shoot the soldiers of the Teardrop Army. He wasn't as exposed to the archers, as well.

Ronin hugged Brielle fiercely, causing her to squeak in pain. "The ribs, Ronin!"
"Oh right, sorry," he said, setting her down and blushing embarrassedly.
