Solace hugged Bubbles to his chest, keeping her warm from the icy cold. "Do you come here often?" he asked, his breath forming Misty clouds in the air.

She shook her head. "You don't want to know how many centuries it has been... millenia, almost. I suppose I've spent too much time wandering the endless, infinite multiverse."

"That's a long time," Solace said simply. "I've only been alive for, what? Seventeen years? Although I spawned into existence because Luna needed a "love interest"."

SKMM looked at him sympathetically. "So... she created you?"

Solace made a "so-so" gesture. "Not exactly, but I'm alive because of her existence. So I guess you could say that."

She looked a bit alarmed. "So if she were to die... you would die, too?"

Solace looked away from the beautiful night sky, down at the powdery snow that glittered like diamonds at his feet. "Yeah, maybe."

She decided to change the topic. "Do you have any other friends?"

Solace shrugged. "No, not really. I thought this one wolf was my friend, but she didn't really care. And then there's Silver."
He smiled a little and laughed. "I guess I would count her as a friend." -
She tilted her head. "Who's Silver?"

"A very complicated wolf," Solace said. "We've had some issues, but she's okay now."

She nodded. "Ok. I forgot you were a wolf for a moment, I'm kind of forgetful..."

Solace laughed and swished his tail. "Hey, don't worry about it. I almost forgot too."

She smiled. "You're going to like Pantala. I mean the jungle is pretty dangerous but we can go there last."
