She flapped her wings to stay in place. "You ok? Technically we could teleport there." She said, grinning mischievously.

"I'm fine," Solace said, his voice half an octave higher.

"Ok! You remember the way to the mountains? We'll stop there for a break too --- I also want to show you Jade Mountain." She explained.

Solace nodded, not trusting his voice to be a normal pitch.

"Ok, then. Let's go!" She led the way.

Solace flew next to her. He began to like flying a little. At least he had control.

I know this is supposed to be cringey but not everyone has to be right?))

A mountain came into view, a rather tall one that stood out next to others. "This is Jade Mountain. You're going to need to fly a little higher to be able to land in the right place." She explained.

"I can do that," Solace said, half answering her and half reassuring himself.

She began flapping higher, and landed on a huge ledge. She waited for him to land before saying, "Ok, inside these tunnels is a school! It's actually pretty cool." She explained.

Solace used his wings to slow down his fall, landing neatly for once. "Hmmm," he said, smelling the area.

"Do you want to take a look around, or just rest here before we continue?" She asked.

"I can make it, I'm fine," Solace said, his tail flicking around.

"You want to continue flying? Ok, then." She led the way again.
