"I know Mørks claws are big enough to do this sort of damage, but he should be with his sibling guarding their forest so i couldnt be him. Also, he doesnt let something escape him alive. A bigger dragon maybe, but this is the first one we've seen and we've seen no signs of a territorial dispute" the primordial mused, his ears twitching. "Soul Hydras are a possibility, due to how they form, but if there was a soul hydra here we would have encountered Žetelac, or at the very least one of his hounds

Yancy looked at the claw marks again and said "I've heard that some soul hydra's don't listen to Zetelac. Is this true?" -
Im sorry but my dehydrated brain saw those words and decided to play the one meme with the kid in the tank but with a soul hydra and Žetelac instead of a kid and his dad)
Sgrios went quiet, his ears folding back as a horrorfied look spread across his face "if thats the case we need to get out of here. -
Yancy said "Agreed, come on." Just then a mighty roar was heard over the horizon. She then said "Quickly, now." and she got back on her horse.

Sgrios quickly scrambled up onto the horse with her

Yancy got the horse running again and made it keep running. She looked behind her and through the winds of snow, she saw it. A soul hydra, feasting on yetis and lost souls.

Sgrios's ears pinned back in terror when he noticed it, doing his best to mute his magic so the massive wyvern creature wouldnt notice them

The hydra gobbled up the yetis like berries until it saw the horse. It roared and began to run after them. -
The reason soul 'Hydras' are called that, is they are constructs comprised of hundreds(or thousands) of souls, with 2-10 acting as the main 'heads' they usually only have one physical head, but they can have more if some of the dominant souls are combative againsts eachother.(ie, if the soul hydra forns at a battle field and two enemy comanders are dominant, the hydra would have two heads.) But the rest of their body plan is similar to a Wyvern))
"Oh s---" Sgrios shrieked in alarm, panicking -
(I see. Your imagination is way better than mine. I can make characters and creatures but lore is way beyond me.)
Yancy tried to make the horse go faster but the soul hydra was just to fast a runner. As it caught up, it looked like the journey would end. -
Most of my lore is half baked ideas strung together with popcorn string)
Sgrios lept off the horse and wrapped himself in electrisity to draw the constructs attention, firing off several pale coloured bolts at its head -
(At least your able to draw it. All my art just copies other people's art styles.)
The hydra reacted in pain but still swatted Sgrios out of the sky. -
Sgrios yelped in pain and hit the ground with a crunch

Yancy stopped but didn't know how to help as the hydra closed in on Sgrios. Just then, a burst of fire hit the hydra's head and it recoiled. Out of the sky came the phoenix and it attacked the hydra enough to repel it. The phoenix then grabbed Sgrios with it's claws and flew. It then grabbed Yancy and her horse to get them away from the hydra.
