Summer finally blinks after staring into the distance and quickly turns her head towards Hina, her eyes wide. “WAIT, There’s a time?!” She asks.

"yeah, but you'll be an old woman by that time and I'll be just the same as I am now, kitsune don't age, we are immortal but you'll continue to age and leave this world eventually." Hina said

Hina felt like a villain for being in summer's life, like she caused this

Summer looks back up at Hina’s face, and a thought crosses her mind. “A-Are Kitsune able to make mortals Kitsune, too?” She asks.

"no, it's a birth trait, nothing short of a god could do that, the best I can do is pray to one of the greater mortal entities." Hina said

Summer nods. “I’m going to have to leave, will you be okay?” She asks in a concerned tone.

"I'll be fine." Hina said. She was lying through her teeth

Summer makes a little sad face. “I’ll be back soon, Hina.” Summer kisses Hina’s cheek, and smiles a little, heat forming on her face.

"see you soon, summer." Hina said with a voice sounding highly dignified.

Summer skips away, or at least tries to. Something was bothering her. She felt like a piece of the puzzle was missing. Or multiple pieces.

As soon as summer left Hina burst into tears and went on a rampage in the shrine breaking everything

Summer couldn’t stop herself from letting tears roll down her face. She wasn’t happy with the life she was given, everything was messed up.
Half of her family was dead, only her sister remaining. Everyone in her pack hated her. Hina was her only friend who didn’t bully her for being bisexual or having anxiety.
She hated everything. “I HATE EVERYONE!” She yelled, tripping on a branch and sobbing.
