-timeskip through all of the paper work-
Astrid walked down the halls with her schedule in hand and took a deep breath. Hopefully, she would pass as a human. She didn't quite know their mannerisms yet, so she would just watch and learn. She approached the door to her first class and knocked on it softly. If her guesses were correct; Nico should be in this room. -
Nicko heard someone knocking on the classroom door. He opened it, wondering who it was. It was that girl he had thought he had seen appear out of nowhere. He swallowed. "Are...are you in this class?" he said.

Astrid shook her head yes. "My name is Astrid!" she said extending her hand. As Nicko shook it, she went to look for an empty desk. She spotted on in the back that was fairly secluded. She made her way there and sat down. She was giddy with excitement. She couldn't wait to see what this day had in store for her.

Nicko shook her hand then sat in the chair he had been sitting in before. She hadn't really given him a chance to introduce himself. Luckily he had gotten to class before the teacher had actually started.

Astrid kept her eye on Nicko, but focused on the school work as well. This level of work was a bit easier than what she had experienced when she was in school, so she flew through it. Before she knew it, the class was over and the bell rang. She quickly packed her things and walked up to Nicko and tapped him on his shoulder. "Uhm, do you know where Ms. Davis' class is?" She asked softly. -
(Funny how I got on at exactly nine)
"That's my next class," Nicko said. "I'll bring you there." He was trying his best to be nice to her, like he always did for the new students, but he felt like he was failing a bit. "I'm Nicko." -
"Nice to meet you!" She said, a little bit to excitedly. "Sorry I didn't shake your hand earlier. I was just in a hurry. New school jitters." Her and Nicko walked down the hall. Being around this many people was making her nervous. The schools she went to never had this students.

Nicko nodded. "Understandable," he said. They got to the next classroom. "Here we are. Don't worry, Miss Davis is really nice," he said.
