Ok this is what I got
C1 is a knight sent to slay a dragon, once they do they discover that a much more terrifying beast was friends with that dragon (C2) now C1 can trust no one C2 can shape shift and can kill you in a single touch all the while the villagers are all starting to slowly go insane as orcs cyclopes and hundred handed giants attack the kingdom and destroy the crops as they all start starving to death -
