Hmm, not sure))
The leader made a sharp command to a few of his people, who went forward and tied Harper and Crypta up. Robo was bound by the legs and carried like a dead deer. -
(Aw poor Robo)
(Right now I'm thinking about in Peter pan how the Lost Boys were captured by the Indians lol)
(Wait if this is the same forest as before then there would have been natives there before and they would recognize Crypta.)
Harper didn't resist while being tied then followed the native in front of him. -
(Or what if the natives were forced into the deal with Linnus)

A few of them recognize her, but she doesn't remember them in the slightest. And yeah, Peter Pan flash backs lol))
"It's going to be okay, Robo," Crypta whispered to the robotic dog. He whined and wagged his tail a little, although he was terrified. The natives took them to their camp, where wide eyed children watched curiously. -
(Well she never met them)
Harper wondered if they took everyone they saw in the forest that wasn't part of their people captive or not. He attempted some diplomacy.
"Sir, we have done you no harm, nor did we mean it if we have." -

Crypta kept quiet, giving the watching children a friendly wave. A few of the kids shyly waved back, hiding behind each other.
"You bear weapons," the leader retorted. "Innocent man does not wear weapons." -
Harper personally had no weapons on him, but Crypta did. "They're for self-defense," he said. "We're being chased by cruel people."

"I wear my weapon for the same reason you wear yours," Crypta said firmly. "There are bad people after us."
"I have seen signs with your faces," the leader said. "Your heads are valued for high prices." -
Harper sighed. "They're also very powerful," Harper said. "They can influence what news is given to the people."

"What reason do I have to believe you?" he said. Crypta opened her mouth and promptly closed it. How could she prove that they weren't guilty?
"Linnus is deceitful and always has been," Crypta said. "Years ago, they attacked me and my friends. Not all of us survived."
Lilac swam to the front of her mind. She had only known her for a short time, but the memory of her death was still sharp and painful. Her vision blurred but she refused to cry, her expression remaining stone-faced and emotionless. -
Harper, being trained by Linnus could tell that it brought sad memories for Crypta. One didn't put on a face so impassive without reason.
"We'll do anything we can to prove it to you," Harper said. -
The leader thought on it in silence. "We have seen the grave of a fallen and the ruin of a Linnus beast, and they fit with your story. But where will you go from here? Linnus will follow and I cannot endanger my own by keeping you here."

Harper didn't know where they'd go. "We don't want to put your people in danger either," he said. "Just let us go and we'll...we'll figure out where we go from here."
