"We write books." Victor said opening the bottle and pouring half of it into the glass.

"Arthurs write books," Harper said, as if taking a mental note. "Got it."

"ok." Victor said pouring in the milk.

"So that's how you make chocolate milk!" Harper said, watching him. "Is it good?"

"this is my special concoction, normal chocolate milk doesn't have this much chocolate." Victor said.

"Your world has a lot of strange thing-a-ma-bobs. Like that!" Harper said, pointing at a flower.

"yeah, I heard if you touch it it will eat your hand off with sulfuric acid." Victor said

Harper recoiled from it. "Why do you allow it to approach your dwelling?"

"Because it gets rid of flies." Victor said.

"Seems to be a high price to pay," Harper said seriously, before perching on a chair.

"ehh, as long as I feed it it won't hurt me." Victor said.

Harper glared at the flower as if it had wronged her.

Victor stirred his chocolate a bit then took a gulp.

"Is there anything else I should be aware of?" Harper said.

"dogs, they're vicious little monsters." Victor said.
