I remember it like yesterday... Probably because it was yesterday. I remember rocking back in forth in my living room rocking chair, reading a Sherlock Holmes novel as I sat by the roaring fireplace. I remember the green ring in my finger glowing, and as it did, my neighbour's lights turned on and I heard his dog begin to bark. Curious, I looked out the window, and I saw a familiar jaguar car being exited by a familiar man. My brother, Henry.
Four rings were on his fingers, one glowing blue as he spotted me and paused. I instantly got up from my chair, locking the door before heading upstairs, fast as my old legs could take me, which wasn't very fast. By the time I reached the stairs, he broke down the door, and I saw the glow of the red ring on his finger as I stammered up the stairs. My green ring flowed as he chased me, and he tripped over my Furniture. Still he chased me, reaching the bottom of my stair case by the time I reached the top.
I managed to get into my room and lock the door again, and then all I could do was sit at my desk and think. I knew what Henry wanted. He's been chasing me since we got these rings. Henry wants all the rings to himself, and he's killed our other three siblings to get them. The reason he's taken so long to steal my ring is because I have the ring of luck, which is the best ring to have if your goal is to avoid bad situations.
I could hear him tear through my door with ease, and I sighed as my tired blue eyes studied him. "Henry, I feel we've been playing this game too long. Why do you keep trying to get my ring? You're powerful enough with the others." I attempted to reason. Henry paused, the blue ring glowing. "You remember what Father told us, don't you? Those who wear all five rings will have all their problems washed away..." Henry replied, coming closer to me. "Yeah, he did say that... Right before dying with the five rings in possession." I muttered in annoyance.
"It doesn't matter. I've worked my entire life for this. You're too old to run from me anymore Ellie. What will you do? Hit me with a cane?" He asked, aiming his weapon at my head with a chuckle. "You're right, I am too old to run, but not too old to reason. However, seems you won't listen to reason." I sighed, slipping the green ring off my finger. His blue ring flowed as I handed him the ring, and he looked at me in question before nodding. "Good choice." He told me, placing the fifth ring on his thumb.
As soon as he did, all five rings started to glow. The red ring of strength, the blue ring of intelligence, the purple ring of charm, the gold ring of wealth, and finally the green ring of luck. Their glowing spread up Henry's veins, and I watched in shock as he let out a scream of agony before he passed out.
After checking his pulse, I was able to determine that he would die. I decided the best thing I could do would be to protect these rings, so I put them each in their own individual cases. I did have a plan for them, in case I died. I would probably be going to jail for his death, but on the bright side, I now know what actually happens when you collect and wear all five rings. Father was right, all your problems do disappear. All your problems, including yourself.
The Plot:
Five siblings, C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5 are morning the death of their lost grandmother. She died shortly after being charged with the murder of her brother Henry. It is believed she died of a heart attack. In her will, the grandmother left behind her money and possessions to her children, but she did leave something for her grandchildren as well.
Five rings, one ring for each of them, each of a different colour. C1 gets a red ring with the word 'Strength'. They get a note telling them to use it to protect themselves and others. C2 gets a purple ring with the word 'Charm' carved into it. "To gain supporters and Find True Love." Says the note that came with the ring. C3 gets a blue ring with the word Intelligence written on it, with a note saying: I believe you'll know how to use it." C4 gets the gold ring of wealth, with a note saying: Use this for that poor friend of yours.." Finally, C5 got a green ring of luck,
With these rings comes incredible powers or abilities! Will your characters use them for good or evil? Or maybe just use them for their everyday lives! The biggest question is, will one of you try to steal the others?
(I'll be starting this role play tomorrow. I'm getting tired and going to bed.) -

Personality: She tends to be laid back, and charismatic. Her whole life has been filled with ups and downs, but she has learned from them. To others, she seems wise beyond her years.
What they want to use their ring for: They juat want to improve their current living state, and the emotional bonds with the people around them.
Their relationship with Grandma: Addison loved her Grandmother and would do anything in the world for her. Whenever she had the time, she would go over and play board games and talk about different things in their lives.

Personality: Miley is a major tom boy and loves to hand out with the dudes. She is the Captain of the Girl's basketball team, and her hobbies include sports, working out, making/sharing memes, making fun of popular girls, setting up pranks, and hanging out with her friends, which are all guys.
What they want to use their ring for: She has a crush on her best friend, but he just sees her as one of the guys. She wants to use the ring to get him attracted to her because she has no idea how to flirt.
Their relationship with Grandma: She never really understood her grandmother the way Addison always had, but she was pretty chill with her. She liked hearing her grandmother's stories, even if they sounded a bit far from reality. She always just assumed her grandmother made them up.
