Lowly growling to himself, he continued to eat, his ears wide alert. -
A VERY pregnant she-cat was approaching the rabbit. She had fluffy silver tabby fur and was scenting the rabbit curiously, until she saw Thorn.
She fluffed up even more, watching him with wide eyes. -
He protectively put his paw over the rabbit, snarling.

Thinking that he meant to threaten her, she put her belly low to the ground, getting into a defensive stance to protect her unborn kits.

He unsheathed his claws as a warning.

"What do you want?" she asked, her claws not yet unsheathed.

"More like what do you want!" He snarled.

"I want to stay alive without unnecessary conflict," she said coolly. "And you?"

"I want you to leave me alone."

The silver tabby eyed him suspiciously. "So you'll leave me alone, then?"

"You're the one who came towards me, first!" He bared his teeth, challenging her.

"I smelled prey," she replied calmly. "The way you hunt...it is most intriguing. It's very similar to a Twoleg's."

"So what?" He lowly growled.

"I wonder where you learned it from," she said. "Or who."

"I taught myself." He admitted.
